Boreholes in Ghana

Boreholes in Ghana

Funded by The Rotary Club of Calverley, The Rotary Club of Pudsey, two local Churches, District 1040 and Rotary international a borehole has been constructed in Ghana providing much needed fresh water to the village.

We were fortunate that we could work very closely with the local Rotarians on the ground in the area and knew that money went directly to the project. In July 2008 two Rotarians John Walker - Past President of Pudsey and Robert Key - another Past President of Pudsey who has recently transferred to Calverley - visited the project and below are some of the pictures taken on their trip.
