Rotary Foundation
and Paul Harris Fellows

The
Paul Harris Fellowship was
established by Rotary
International in 1957 and in our
Club is awarded in recognition
for service to the community or
to the Club.
Our own members are awarded Paul Harris
Fellowships by the club for
their service to the club and
the community
Every
Paul Harris Fellow receives a
pin, medallion and a certificate
when he or she becomes a
Fellow. This identifies the
Paul Harris Fellow as an
advocate of the Foundation's
goals of world peace and
international understanding.
It has been a practice of many
clubs to award Paul Harris
Fellowship to select members in
appreciation of his or her
service to the club.
Our Paul Harris Fellows are:
David Hastings, Stephen Gullick,
Rod Wood and Mike Wood.
Stan Lawton becomes the latest
Paul Harris Fellow,
On the 29th July Stan Lawton, a
past President of the Club
between 2004 - 2005, was
presented with a Paul Harris
Fellowship. This was such a
surprise to Stan and it was on
the same evening as the Irish
Dancing so his wife was present
as was his daughter who had
trained the young dancers who
had performed earlier that
evening. Congratulations from us
all.
